Cheap Istanbul Hotels

Unlike many other European and Mediterranean countries where cheap equates to being bad, dirty, noisy and overall unpleasant, Turkey indeed does have cheap hotels that are fairly decent. Istanbul has all types of hotels and there are plenty of cheap cheap Istanbul hotels. On average, the cheapest hotels in Istanbul will cost you $40-$60 a night – not a bad price. However, one should be weary and take time when it comes to selecting cheap hotels. First, the facts – when you want something cheap, you have to be realistic. You definitely are not going to get a free breakfast, you will not get a personal chauffer or an attendant, there may not be a swimming poor or spa and Wi-Fi will not always be free. In most cases, you will get a nice clean, safe  room, which is comfortable and has a decent bathroom. If you are satisfied with these three simple wants in a room, then there are plenty of cheap hotels all over Istanbul. Thankfully, the majority of discount hotels are located in the downtown area where all of the tourist sites are, so you will not have to take a cab or walk for miles. The following cheap hotels in Istanbul are recommended for the budget conscious traveler:

We stayed at the Sen Palace when we went to Istanbul. Not a bad little hotels if you’re on a budget. we didn’t spend much time in our hotel room, it was just for sleepign basically. So we saved cash on our lodgings. I’d recommend it.
